Misty C. Anderson has been a practicing Virginia attorney since 2008. After passing the Bar Exam in 2008, Misty started her own law firm, Southside Family Law, PLC in her home town in Southside Virginia. Her practice concentrated on areas of family law including divorce, custody, protective orders, child support, wills, powers of attorney; criminal law including misdemeanors and felonies; traffic law; and juvenile law including delinquency, child in need of services, child in need of supervision, and abuse and neglect.
After getting married and moving to Hanover County, Misty joined Pagano & Marks to continue providing a broad range of legal service in the areas of family law, criminal and traffic law, juvenile law, wills, and other areas of general practice.
Misty attended Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach where she received her Juris Doctorate in 2008. While in law school, Misty interned for Judge Rufus A. Banks, Jr. at the Chesapeake Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court and for the Law Office of Mark Mokris in Mecklenburg County.
Prior to law school, Misty attended Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Economics and Business and a minor in Film Studies.
